About ROSI

ROSI is an independent digital weekly devoted to careful research and analysis of Rwanda’s political, economic and social life, and of the regional security environment that shapes the country’s future.

Each week, ROSI publishes one consequential article. The purpose is not to reproduce the news cycle, promote an institution or advance a party position. It is to examine what is known, identify what remains uncertain, test official and public claims against available evidence, and ask what a development means for Rwanda’s long-term capacity, resilience and freedom of action.

ROSI draws on publicly available information, historical context and disciplined analytical judgment. It seeks clarity without sensationalism and independence without indifference.

Light in Dark Places

The name ROSI is accompanied by a simple commitment: to illuminate developments that matter, particularly where public information is incomplete, competing interests are obscured or the long-term consequences have received insufficient attention.

ROSI’s editorial identity is institutional. Its work should be judged by the quality of its evidence, the fairness of its reasoning and the usefulness of the questions it asks.
